A multivariate, multimodal, cross-species EEG and neuroimaging informatics workspace
Why streamline EEG analytics?
EEG, quantitative EEG (qEEG) are increasingly used in drug development to investigate central nervous system penetration, efficacy, and safety of drug candidates. Being largely non-invasive and replicable measurements, they provide a quantitative measure of functional brain responses to pharmacological interventions. The presence of evolutionary conserved oscillatory brain mechanisms and connectivity at circuit level underlie the value of qEEG as a preclinical-clinical translatable tool providing a high temporal resolution window into changes across time.
Despite the widespread and standardized use of EEG in the clinical space, preclinical collection methods are not streamlined across the industry and often vary within a single outsourced program. Lack of availability of database-appropriate analytical tools compounds this issue.
qEEG is informationally rich, translatable across species, and eminently suited to machine learning or powerful statistical computational approaches. However, no streamlined approaches to qEEG exist in the industry presently. In order to maximize the power of AI/ML methods the results across species, compounds, and modalities need to be available in secure searchable databases, with fast and reliable tools for curation, analytics, and reporting.
Our Solution
Aligned with our mission to accelerate drug development research, we have developed a robust database platform to facilitate preclinical to clinical high-dimensional translatable qEEG, as well as alignment of safety EEG and qEEG with drug pharmacokinetic or target mechanistic data. We provide fast EEG-derived data generation, integration across programs and streamlining across collection platforms with the goal of providing rapid answers for decision-making, dose-optimization, modeling, and classification of pharmacodynamic activity.
LucerumKey is a database platform and computational service empowering drug development scientists and researchers to rapidly plan and design EEG studies, securely upload and save their data, and receive fast streamlined qEEG or safety EEG results which can be visualized within and across studies with an intuitive user interface. As an extension of your team, our experts help translate your scientific questions into computational solutions.

How can LucerumKey help me?
You’re in the pharma, academic, clinical, or biotech space, but lack infrastructure for CNS functional data. You need a robust, scalable analytical database solution for your application.
You’re a CRO offering electrophysiology services, struggling to streamline operations, cut costs, and gain a competitive edge.
You need electrophysiology or neuroimaging endpoints for preclinical or clinical projects but don’t know where to start.
You have historical pharmaco-EEG, electrophysiology (cardiovascular, toxicology, behavioral, etc.), or neuroimaging data from multiple systems. De-siloing and creating an AI-ready database feels overwhelming.
You rely on too many experts (data analysts, neuroscientists, statisticians, etc.), and software (Matlab, etc.) making it hard to generate actionable data quickly and affordably.
Your scientific team’s work is fragmented, with no platform to unify data and facilitate seamless communication and sharing.
You want to form a consortium to unify functional CNS data sharing and analytics but lack the tools to make it happen.
Your clinical trial requires functional brain analytics or responder stratification based on quantitative EEG and multivariate data. A unified solution for collection and analysis is essential.
You’re an academic researcher with a hypothesis and study plan, but need advanced support for EEG/MEG/fMRI/fNIRS analytics and statistical modeling.
You’re a psychiatry, neurology, or clinical researcher, exploring biomarkers for disease or treatment response but lack AI/ML capabilities or advanced brain mapping tools.
You’re an AI or neurotech developer, seeking to generate neuroanalytics and connect with expert networks to advance your projects.
